Who is Collab.Ventures?
The company building and stewarding TrustRosie.io.
Collab.Ventures is the company behind TrustRosie.io. It develops the platform, onboards new nodes into the network, and manages the shared infrastructure. Since Collab.Ventures is currently the only onboarding path, understanding its role helps you understand how you'll get started.
What Collab.Ventures Does
Platform Development
Builds and maintains the frontend templates, backend services, and platform tools that power every node in the network. All source code is viewable and auditable under the Business Source License 1.1.
Node Onboarding
Helps new organizations join the network β whether as multi-tenant users on TrustRosie.io or as dedicated node operators with their own branded site and knowledge base.
Network Management
Operates the shared infrastructure, facilitates agreements between nodes, and grows the network. Manages the tools that keep the knowledge ecosystem running.
Build-Manage-Exit
For dedicated node clients, Collab.Ventures follows a lifecycle designed to give you independence:
Build
Configure your node, set up your branding, establish your knowledge base, and connect to the network. Collab.Ventures handles the technical setup so you can focus on your content.
Manage
Collab.Ventures manages your node during growth β hosting, updates, backend operations, and technical support. You manage your content and your community.
Exit
When you're ready for independence, take over operations. Self-host your frontend, your backend, or both. Your content stays yours. No lock-in, no data hostage.
Source Transparency
TrustRosie.io is developed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1). This means:
Source code is viewable and auditable
You can inspect the code that handles your data. No black boxes.
Community contributions welcome
Report issues, suggest improvements, contribute code.
Extraction protection
Competing hosted services require a commercial license.
Auto-converts to Apache 2.0
Code becomes fully open source after a set period.
